Haywood Docket Export is a module inside the Haywood case‑management suite that lets users pull docket entries, filings, and hearing notes into CSV, XML, or PDF packages. The export runs directly against the central database, preserving timestamps and case identifiers, which makes bulk reporting and downstream analytics feasible without manual copy‑pasting. Because the feature taps the same API used by the web portal, organizations can schedule nightly extracts or trigger ad‑hoc dumps from a secure admin console.
Despite its convenience, the export has three notable constraints. First, the default file size caps at 10 MB, forcing users with large case volumes to split jobs or risk truncation. Second, custom field mapping is limited to predefined tags, which can omit proprietary metadata that some firms rely on. Third, the module requires a licensed Haywood server version 5.2 or newer; older deployments cannot access the API, leading to costly upgrades for legacy users.
